Crafted X Southover
We are so excited to launch our first art-hotel partnership with Crafted, a new hotel and members club in Battle.
Nestled beside a stunning seven-acre lake and surrounded by 78 acres of private, ancient woodlands, streams and old pastures, it is a tranquil spot to come home to yourself. With an emphasis on slow-living, local home-grown food and stylish interiors inspired by nature, Crafted felt like the perfect place to share some of our local artists in beautiful surroundings

The edit is available for everyone to shop online, with a designated 12 week lead time before works are received, once the collection has a chance to be replenished with new works from our artists.
A number of works in Crafted’s permanent collection were acquired from our artists.

For all our new subscribers, The Southover Gallery is the 1970s Lewes gallery, reimagined.
Founded in 1973 by aristocratic model turned gallerist Deirdre Bland, it ran successfully until 1987 and was once home to exhibitions ranging from Duncan Grant and Quentin Bell to Mary Fedden and Ursula Mommens. We brought the gallery back to life in October 2024, when we moved into our home, spotted the startling red Peggy Angus wallpaper that had previously been hiding behind books, and realised its remarkable history.
The Southover Gallery is now home to over 30 artists with an emphasis on magical interior art and Sussex based talent.
