  • No 7. offers 4 double bedrooms. Three have double, queen or king size beds, while the fourth, our nursery has two twin beds. In addition we have a small baby room with a permanent cot. The house can accommodate a group of up to 6 adults or 6 adults plus two children and a baby. We can provide one additional travel cot and you are more than welcome to bring your own. 

    The house has a family kitchen with a dining area that seats 6-8, a spacious family room and of course our historic Red Room gallery where you will find our Peggy Angus “red dragon” wallpaper still in place. 

    The kitchen and Red Room lead onto a charming courtyard garden, with steps leading up to our sunny roof terrace where we love to enjoy a drink or two in the evenings. 

    All private hires come with a Sussex welcome hamper including a bottle of Sussex Sparkling, local cheeses and a guide book. Need some help planning your trip? We would be delighted to help you curate your trip. Just ask!

Noteworthy…

Please note that The Pink House is a family home and as such not all signs of family life are able to be removed for each stay. We try our best to keep our spaces clean and minimal for you and will include a rail in each room for you to hang your things. We trust our guests to respect the boundaries of personal items in drawers and wardrobes.

We offer private rental for a minimum of two nights. All requests are subject to availability.

We are situated next to the vibrant Kings Head Pub which is one of our favourite places to have a drink in Lewes. This fabulous pub has a busy events schedule and there will be noise and live music on certain nights.

We have a very friendly maine coon cat called Wolf who will be present during your stay. We will leave his simple feeding instructions for you and we hope you will enjoy having our lazy Lord around.
