Helen Mary Stronge is an artist living and working from the Adur Valley in West Sussex. 

Born in Ireland in 1948, her sculpting journey didn’t begin until her mid-forties when she went on to complete a Foundation Course at Northbrook College, Worthing in 1994. She studied under Teresa Martin and John Glazier and always worked from her imagination.

She uses a variety of materials, forever experimenting with texture and organic form , drawing her inspiration from nature like so many of our Southover Gallery artists. She has exhibited and sold in the UK, Ireland, France and New York.

She hopes her work communicates through its silence, stillness and serenity.
